I made my system two weeks ago and I'm just starting to tweak the settings to get some better performance than the stock 1800Mhz...

My setup:
Antec PlusView 1000AMG
Athlon 64 3000+ 939-pin Winchester
MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum with 1.4 BIOS
Corsair TWINX1024-3200XLPRO
MSI GeForce FX 5600-VTD128
Thermaltake Purepower 480W Butterfly Active PFC PSU
Western Digital 80GB SATA 8MB

I'm pretty new at this and I can't seem to get a stable configuration above 2000Mhz. I've tried tweaking the voltages and HT and the speed but no setup has given me any chance at stability. I've read a lot of the threads about this mobo and have seen great results but I cant replicate anything close to anyone else. Any type of help would be great.

You need to post your message in CPU/Proecssor. At the top of screen, you will see a guidance to oc there.
Did you try to loose your mem setting too? If you put your mem setting as the factory default or too tight, then you may not get the clock speed you want.

You'll probably want to enable the AGP/PCI lock and maybe change the SATA port you're using (some have reported problems with the ones by the chipset...try the ones by the AGP slot) as well. I've gotten my 3200+ to 2.2GHz on the K8N Neo2 Platinum (Prime95 stable for > 22 hrs). I had a few stability problems at first as well, but once I enabled the AGP/PCI lock, relaxed my memory timings, and changed the SATA port I was using, all was well. Also, I could never get my system stable unless the HTT multiplier was set to 4 (don't worry, the difference between ~800MHz+ and 1000MHz HTT is negligible).

I heard conflicting stories to enable the PCI/AGP lock some say 66.66667, (66 2/3) which is what is reads if set to 66 in BIOS and some say 67.

Do you know which it is for sure?
