MSI K8N Diamond

that's a very nice looking board there. Great onboard audio finally and i'm sure it's got MSI's renowned stability.

While i have not really had to much experience with msi, there boards are pretty stable for all of the features that you get...

IMO there are only one manufacturer of boards I have owned that I would consider to be stable boards and thats Tyan....my tiger mpx has held up for close to two years now with no failures...

lets hope thats not a jinx 🙂

I wish giga-byte put their memory slots like that 🙁 Not fond of having my memory right next to each other

Is integrated an enthusist APU to motherboard even a good idea? As I recalled, NVIDIA got out of Soundstorm exactly because not many people wanted them. Furthermore, the few who got Soundstorm on motherboards complained that the integrated codecs are of low quality. To make matter worse, the analog signals were further degraded by the high power components (i.e. MOSFETs, CPU, video card) running close to the speaker connectors. This is exactly the same problem that had plagued Dual Processor PowerMac G5.
