You're joking, right? :) All the MSI nv4 offerings are MIA, where they were to be released the first part of last month! I've been keeping tabs on shipping dates from most of the major resellers, to see those dates change FIVE times. The latest dates are 1/11/2005 for the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum (Ultra) and 1/19/2005 for the K8N Diamond. These dates could change.

I saw the Neo 4 Platinum on zipzoomfly change from the 5th to the 12th, I swear they are doing that to get pre orders by sucking people into thinking they will get the board on the 5th now the 12th, and next week when the 12th comes around it will be the 19th.

God dam hippies!

ZZF won't take your order unless they have the item in stock. And ZZF's eta on both offerings started changing all the way back to the first week of December.

Let's keep this one going to see the vendors who have the boards listed. ;)

ETA 1/15---> ATACOM

ETA 1/12---> K8N SLI Diamond ZipZoomFly

ETA 1/19---> K8N Neo4 Platinum ZipZoomFly

ETA ?---> K8N SLI Diamond EastLuna

ETA 1/14---> K8N Neo4 Platinum EastLuna

No need to link to ComputerHQ as they exist to just rip us new ones when these boards do hit town. Their pricing is over $300 :shocked: for whatever version you sellect. They are actually charging more on pre-order for the Ultra than they are the Diamond SLI.

heh, what's to input? ASUS and Chaintech seem to be partying on while Gigabyte manages to squeeze a couple 4X boards out and everyone else watches from the sidelines...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and DFI is over on the bench just yelling to wait til they get their shoes tied...you just wait...when they get those cleats on, oh man, you just wait.... :confused:

:cool: Just did the edit to reflect the date.

I'll do some more searching tonight, to see if we can't find a few other resellers. ;)

Nope. Both of the boards you linked have two 16x PCI-E slots. Only one of those boards is hitting the U.S. The other board for the U.S. market will be the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum---> Is an Ultra
This is the board that ZZF will be stocking in addition to the true K8N Diamond SLI.

Which is an Ultra! MSI has only three versions of the nf4 based board (currently). All three of them are listed in Taiwan. Only two of those are headed for the U.S. The K8N Diamond SLI and the K8N Neo4 Platinum (which is the Ultra).

Your links show both SLI versions. You get it now. What you are linking as the MSI K8N Neo4 SLI is really the MSI K8N SLI Platinum. There is no such board as the K8N Neo 4 SLI.

Oh, and I think I understand what you mean. ZZF has the listing wrong! They are listing a board that doesn't exist. What ZZF is calling the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI nForce4 SLI is in reality the MSI K8N SLI Platinum. The Ultra listing is correct.

Yep. :cool: We are on the same page.

ZZF has the listing wrong, but so do half the resellers out there. Hopefully we'll have one of the two here in the states by the middle of the month. I'm going to make a guess as say it'll probably be the MSI K8N SLI Platinum. I'm hoping for the Ultra. ;)

Know what's funny. MSI USA got the naming wrong! Unless they are going to rename the products that are already listed on the Taiwan site. :) See what I ment about only two of the three Taiwan listed versions will be available here in the US. We are going to see the K8N Neo 4 Platinum, (which is Ultra but can do a form of SLI), and the version Taiwan is calling the K8N Sli Platinum (no bluetooth or wireless) but which MSI USA are renaming the K8N Neo 4 Platinum/SLI.

Listing them on the US site means they will be here soon. :cool:

Don`t know where you are looking but they are a lot cheaper then that in the UK,too bad still MIA when it comes to availability.

OCuk have it listed at (£152.69 Including VAT) that`s $285.69 USD,which is not even the cheapest price I`ve seen in the UK.

Atacom has had that listing for a month--hasn't changed. I know they haven't had this board for a month, and don't have it "in-stock" right now.
