I really am impressed by the stability of the MSI boards but i was also looking forward to the raid features of the Abit board.

I have a few questions about how the IRQs are used when the raid controllers are on the motherboard i have a highpoint controller and i had some problems getting it installed and having enough irq's that weren't conflicting.

I have over 4 ide devices so i would need to add an additional controller card and since i already have one i guess it wouldn't be too much of problem to put it in the msi board.. but i still wouldn't have RAID.

Some questions about raid... Do you have to use 2 identical harddrives to raid 0.

Thanks in advance

If you want the best of both worlds, you can wait for MSI's KT133A board, called K7T Turbo, with ATA100 and RAID features, that will be the Abit KT7-RAID assasin.

Aw man!!

I just bought a KT7-RAID online on Monday, and then Anand has to spoil my Christmas! I don't even have my MB yet: I won't be able to rejoice in the pure bliss of top notch performance for even one day. My day is ruined...I can't talk anymore...

Just kidding! Abit is only off by 3-5 FPS at the most in low res. Big deal. The Abit is stable and a solid performer, I hope... (nail biting)

Maybe I'll pawn thw KT7 off on somebody and get the MSI KT7pro2A

Edit: Okay, so I can't type and my grammar is bad.
