Is it possible to get a version of the above board? Looking for an MSI K7TPro2A that DOES NOT have onboard sound/video.

There is no onboard video for the K7T Pro2A, and the sound can be disabled easily.

I'd rather it not even be there personally. Onboard sound would add useless ports to the back of my setup. I REALLY wish this whole onboard audio trend would have never started. You can barely find a board now without onboard audio. The majority of people seem to use their own cards, so it don't seem logically to increase cost by adding the audio. I can see having it on the integrated solution microATX boards, but not all of them.

It really does not matter. Without it, there just be blank space that is unused for the I/O shield. With it, it be filled but still useless space.

Does it matter? The board is cheap and reliable. Disabling sound is simple.
