MSI K7TPro2 users, which version of BIOS do you use?

1.8 has limited tweaking options compared to 1.7 as well as the limited FSB options.

i got mine from the MSI website

after i flashed my bios, the bios shows 686A at the bottom of the screen when rebooting

wonder it should be 686b or 686A

How did you guys get your Pro2A's to do more than 1.7 volts? Mine can't do anymore than that, I'm trying to get my Duron to 900.

connect your L7 bridge

you will get more than that

Hmmm, I think mine says 686A too. However, I get 1.85 volts as my maximum. Would connecting the L7 bridge help that too?

i connected the l7 bridge

i can get 1.9v with 0.05v extra from the Pro2-A

go and check your pc alert3 for the voltage

I do believe the maximum voltage for a Thunderbird is 1.85 + an extra 0.07 v that the MSI mobo provides.
