I have prtetty much always used Abit boards since I began overclocking, but lately switched all to The MSI due to the reports of stability, to which they are.
But I did have one Duron I hung onto that ran 900-950 on the Kt7, when I put the same chip in the K7T the best it would accept was 800.Maybe thats the maxium stability range?
Anyway the strangest thind is the voltage. always on the abit boards the more vcore I was able to throw at it the better the results up to a point.I have consistantly noticed the opposite with the MSI board, the latest being my 1.2 gig tbird that was running flawless at 1.4 got a it sluggish and finally locked, rebooted acouple of times and got locks again so i brought the vcore down fro 1.80 to 1.775 and all is well. how about that sh!!!!!!
