It's surprising that a number of websites are attacking Anandtech about their testing methods. I personally feel that it's not justified since these sites either don't have the MSI k7T266pro board or have not even done any testing themselves.
Regarding beta9 bios will improve performance, well if you read do compare the benchmarks with my Gigabyte 7VTX (that is how KT266 should perform), you will notice that b09 optimum has too agressive timings of 1T command and 2ns memory timing. Try setting it to 2T, 2.5ns and you will see the difference in memory benchmarks.
