Just curious. Has anyone contacted their MB manufacture to see if they could get the current board replaced with the new revision? I just got this board recently (the MSI one) and would like to have known there would be a newer and much better version and waited for it. Chances are they won't do this but thought it would be worth asking you guys about it.

I have the same board, and am going to call MSI on Thursday and ask them to replace my board. I bought mine in July and can't seem to keep it going for more than a couple of weeks and even sometimes days without something going haywire. Installed new BIOS this week so we'll see, and disabled the RAID, I think thats been the problem all along is the raid drivers. I kept getting stop errors at startup when using the raid. The system would work fine for a while(couple of days or weeks) and then when you would not start up. Format and start over. New install as of 9/8 , lets see how long this one last. Oh yea I did install the new raid drivers from MSI and it made the problem worse.

Have you had any problems with your board?;)

its unlikely that they will change the mobo with new chipset.

the new chipset kt266a will get a new mobo and a new name.

therefore, they probably wont' exchange the mobo since they both are different products.
