im not sure how stable it is, and how it performs. do a search on the forums for "msi" or "k7t266" to see what others think. you can also go to anandtech's motherboard forum, which would most likely have more information on it.
The MSI K7T266-R is a very stable board.Should you return it?...well if it`s not the board you ordered you have two choices,send it back or phone the company and ask them if you can keep it,rather then the Gigabyte you are waiting for.
OK well MSI are one of the top brands,that board now is getting very good reviews and is on the approved AMD recommended list so you can`t really go wrong,go here for a review .
I think you should just keep it if you dont plan on overclocking, even if you do overclock the K7T266 will work out just fine. You just need to get the newest BIOS, which is v1.4, and make sure you install the newest 4-in-1 BIOS.
