Hi all, I'm having this annoying problem with this new motherboard. Not anything really bad just annoying. Basically the Motherboard is not detecting the CPU Fan. I have a Panaflo plugged into the powersupply not the motherboard. So everytime I boot up the computer, the stupid siren goes off and says WARNING CPU FAN NOT DETECTED, DO YOU WISH TO SHUTDOWN Y/N. Every single time I boot up. I looked for a way to turn this off but can't seem to find anything. So if anyone knows anything please let me know.

The good news is this is really the only issue I've had with the new motherboard so far. ONly other prob i had was with the win 98 se and over 512 megs of ram issue which I went to microsoft website and did the quick fix.

I'm also looking forward to some guides or something on how best to tweak the bios. Looks like a lot of options to play with and to optimize.

Thanks for your help.

I've heard that there's no real fix, but if you can plug your video card fan or northbridge fan (if you bought one) into the spot for the CPU fan and it will take care of the problem.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'm going to have to try and find a fan to shove in there. Already tried my enermax motherboard fan thing and my rear case fan, but both had the same result. Guess it has to have the sensor wire. Thanks again.
