I just got this board last week and it's very stable. But, the boards alarm starts screaming when I try to game.
I have the alarm disabled in the bios.
I'm not overclocking.

Anyone else had this problem?

MSI K7T266 Pro2
Athlon XP 1800+
512 MB PC 2100 DDR
Geforce2 TI
SB Live 5.1
Promise Fastrak 100
Realtek nic

Thanks for any help.

check in the bios for a pchealth section (at least old MSI's had it) should be setting in there about an alarm if the temp goes over a certain reading. Disable it or make the temp setting higher. Hope the section is still in the Bios for you!

🙂Hehe, same here...It beeps when I play FIFA2002(Ironically not Max Payne, which theoretically should require more system resources)

I just left it there...and it has not been doing that for a couple of weeks...

BTW, according to PC Alert III, my CPU temp is around 50 (53 max.) @ full load...Is that okay?
