My computer will not boot with my new Microstar K7T Turbo motherboard. I have a thunderbird 850. I have no idea whats wrong with it. Does anyone have an idea whats wrong with it? How do I set my bios to use the 266 fsb with a thunderbird 850 200?

My hard drive starts up, everything seems to start up, but my screen doesn't turn on.

Did you install the video card properly?
Are you sure the video card is working?
Did you plug the monitor cable in tight?

I'm positive the video card is in right. I just looked at the led lights and it says something is wrong with my processor. It has a tiny chip on it. Will they rma that?

And yet another tbird damaged by improper hsf installation. You have to be very careful installing the hsf on these babies, they are sensitive!!!

RBuck, turns out my cpu wasn't damaged. I removed all my pci cards and just left in my video card. It booted up. Now its running stable at 1000 mhz, but I'm having problems overclocking the fsb. Can someone help me

Connect all L7 bridges as well to allow O/C Duron/Tbird to boot at 1.85v and then default to BIOS vcore optimal settings
Try not to use a smart FAN on the Hsink. Reason at start up it starts lazily then picks up speed (during normal operation it can increase/decrease) - not good for AMDs (OK for Intels). AMD CPUS can burn up in 6 seconds without a HEatsink/fan - what does that imply?
