I haven't seen this brought up on this board before, so here goes:

Question
Why does my K7T Turbo temperature is higher compared to my K7T Pro2 or my boards from other manufacturer
Answer
This is because the temperature detected by K7T Turbo is more accurate. K7T Turbo temperature detected would be higher compared to K7T Pro2 or other boards because K7T turbo uses the TOP TECH. TOP TECH is the gold color plastic strip on the board to detect the CPU temperature. This plastic strip touches directly the CPU while K7T Pro2 or other boards uses the resistor method which detect the CPU temperature via the air flow in between the resistor & the CPU
>>
so....the K7T Turbo temp reading (using MBM5 or any other program) should provide a fairly accurrate temp reading???
...and no compensation is required for the K7T?
hmm...interesting....
