I configured my entire new system, except I can't decide which motherboard to go with. Here are my system specs, which one (MSI K7T Turbo-R or IWill KK266) will give me the best stability and performance.

AMD Athlon 1200Mhz CPU 256K A-Cache 266FSB
512MB SDRAM DIMM 32x64 PC-133
IBM 45GB Ultra ATA/100 7200rpm IDE Hard Drive
1.44MB Floppy Drive
Toshiba 12X DVD ROM EIDE Drive
Sound Blaster Live! PCI Sound Card
ATI Radeon DDR 64MB AGP Graphic Card
Enermax 330W PSU

Thanks in advance...

1) Wrong forum, I'm sure the moderators will move this
2) You mentioned the Turbo-R, i.e. the RAID version of the MSI board, but not the IWill. Any reason? The KK266-R is the RAID version of the IWill board.
3) The MSI boards have been somewhat notorious for having multiplier issues. If you're not overclocking, then don't worry about it.
4) There was a batch of bad Kk266's awhile back, about 3 weeks ago. Not known if the boards were all recalled
5) Both boards are great, it depends on what you want. You didn't mention your needs, so it's tough to give advice.

Opps, sorry for the wrong forum. The IWill KK266 was a typo, I meant the Raid version. No plan to use it now, but would like to have the option to in the future. I won't be doing any overclocking, possibility in the future but definitely not important now. My main concerns are stability and any possible compatibility issues with my components.

I didn't hear about the bad batch, was it only a few boards or a large batch? Is there a way to recognize them? Such as a range of lot numbers or something?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
