MSI K7T Turbo-R...Best bios for performance???

I just got the MSI board today and got it up and running. VERY disapointed in the performance vs. my A7V system. All parts are the same. Both Durons at same speed ect... It is about 1/2 drop in benchmark memory performance and SETI crunching time is quadrupled. It came with bios 1.0b I belive. Is there a better bios for the best performance????? This just does not cut it the way it is.
