MSI K7T-Turbo-R ___ Disable Raid???

Gonna buy the MSI K7T-Turbo-R shortly.
Since cash is a little short now, can I disable the RAID feature until I can buy a second hard drive to use with the mother board???

On the MSI the raid is setup for IDE 3 & 4, use IDE slot's 1 & 2 i think
