I have an MSI K7T Turbo. I'm having problems starting it up on a cold boot, I have to press the reset button. It recently started happening again. It was working fine for the past month. Occaitionally, it will start up on its own. Anyone here have an idea on how I can fix this?

Do you have anything enabled such as 'modem wake up on ring' or anything like that?

As far as having problems with it starting, have you verified that your connections are secure? Are you sure it's not your power supply?

Yeah, but looking at your post times, you only gave your thread a total of 23 minutes before giving up. Give it a day and see what gets posted, 23 minutes indicates you're a bit impatient.

I'm running the MSI K7T Turbo with a 850 TBird. I too had cold boot problems when I ran it at 133 FSB until I connected all the cut bridges on L7 (which sets default Vcore to maximum). Since doing this, I've had no cold boot problems at all. I'm currently running at 1005 MHz (7.5 x 134). If you've not tried this, give it a try. If you've already done this you might consider reworking the bridges on L7 and see if the problem goes away. Good luck.

um... did you hook up the power lead to the right header?
