MSI K7T Turbo DOA after 2nd RMA

I just got my K7T Turbo back from RMA and it was DOA just like the first time. The diagnostic LED's on the board do not light up at all. I have taken it to a local computer shop and had them test it out and they have declared the board dead. I'm so digusted with MSI's lack of quality RMA/warranty service. Take heed beofre any of you purchase a board from them.

I have had several MSI boards, and naught a problem with any of them...100% stability, but sucky overclocky compared to my asus's

I suspect its not the boards fault but some other component in ur machine (say powersupply) that is the real problem...

(I do have a k7t turbo raid btw)

I know for fact it's not the power supply. When the computer shop owner tested it, he used several 300 and 330 watt power supplies that were all working in Athlon machines. What really confuses me, is that the diagnostic LED's do not light up at all. Are they supposed to light up even if the CPU is dead or has been removed?

I would say the board is dead and where your getting it from they have a bad batch! Things happen just have some patience!

Dreadogg....bad batch? I sent this in to MSI myself. They gave me an ed-user RMA repair/replace service twice and the board was sent back dead. This is a mistake on MSI's part not the place I originally bought the board from.

Don't feel bad ... I had 3 MSI K7T Turbo's arrive DOA on me. Never will go MSI again.... I went ABIT and I'm very happen with it. Go with ABIT or ASUS, IMHO.

Well, I sent them another email and told them that i was throughly pissed and they said they will send me a brand new replacement.
