MSI K7T Turbo availability????

Has anybody heard anything yet? Today is supposed to be the day. I just called Multiwave and they have no idea when they might be able to start selling them or what the price might be. I was hoping to at least find out how much these boards are supposed to retail for today even though I'm sure it will be at least a few weeks till I can get my hands on one.

I am also planning to buy this board. How did you find out that today is the release day?

If you do a search on the boards for "k7t turbo", there are a bunch of posts where people claim to have been told 1/4/01 as the release date. That info seems to have been discovered shortly before Christmas. The only problem is that it's now January 4 and no one knows any more than they knew 3 weeks ago. I hope somebody hears something yet today.

So no one's heard anything? I called a number I found on MSI's website but no one I talked to had a clue.

Whats the turbo board all about?? is that the 133 FSB one??

I heard the 4th from someone who talked to a local merchant and the merchant said that the distributor said they would get the on the 4th. I can't remember the guys name on here.. but I think the post he made about it was lost with the forum outage that happened later that day.

Yes, the turbo is supposed to be basically a Pro 2-A but with the revised KT133A chipset which officially supports 133FSB. It also has RAID which I don't care about (I'm really hoping they don't jack up the price because of that).

Raid I don't care for, the extra IDE connectors I do appreciate!! still I don't like the onboard sound, or the CNR slot.. so I may wait for the KT7A-RAID
