MSI k7T Pro2a question

I just got my k7t pro2a board with an IBM 30Gb 75GXP hd.....i can't seem to utilize it's ata100 capabilities. i used hd tach to benchmark the drive but it seems like it's only running at about 58mbps and the CPU utilization was like 21%. I'm have a 1Ghz t-bird. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? i also flashed the mobo bios v1.9 and installed the via ata100 ide driver. Also, in the ata100 ide tool, it says that i'm using a 40 pin cable but i really have a 80 pin cable connecting the hd. can someone help? Thanks!

Go to Orange delta and check the lowermost FAQ for some info and a driver link to solve that problem if you're running W2k.
