I would get a SBLive and kill the onboard sound in the bios.. hopefully that would fix it. At least I hope since im looking at the next MSI board for myself that has onboard sound, which I will promptly disable. I wish there were more boards available that didn't have the onboard sound!

would you please re-post your origional QUESTION? you jsut said you had problems and now its fixed with an edit msg. How is this message board supposed to help other people solve the same problem if they never knew what your origional problem was in the first place..

its just that this particular board has been having problems with ONBOARD sound and getting a 3rd party card working that any help would be usefull...
