MSI K7T Pro2, where to buy?

I imagine that there are a lot of us anxiously awaititng this motherboard. I'm one of them, howver if I go with a 900 or 950 Mhz Thunderbird, I won't have to consider overclocking so would be able to use the K7T Pro. Boy this upgrading is a never ending thing. Radarman

I wonder why Hong Kong usually have products out faster too.

Well, it is not out yet, wait till mid-Nov at least.

What's great about this motherboard ? Are there any links that contain
review/specs about this one ? I'm looking to purchase a mobo
and I see many people waiting for this board. Just curious to know
if it meets my requirements.

Henry,
I found a couple of sites in either Hong Kong or Taiwan that seem to have the board. (I don't know for sure, as I don't have Chinese characters on my computer and couldn't understand them if I did.) Of interest were the product specifications. On at least three different sites I saw "686B ATA 100" amongst all of the odd characters.
Hopefully, we won't have to wait much longer for this board to be available.

ax57 - do you mind sending those sites to me if that's not too much trouble? Specially I want to look at those Hong Kong sites, and I probably know better if they are valid. I can read Chinese btw. 🙂

One of the tech sites I read reported that it started shipping in Hong Kong/Asia last week. No reports on when the US shipments will commence 🙁 they are rolling off the assembly line though. If I see the article again I'll provide a link to it.

I want one too... but if there is no news by the end of the week... I'll have to go with an Abit... or get an Intel Cerlermine 🙁

Brad

EDIT: here is one story about it Link Scroll down to 10/22, it's in the middle.

MSI = Taiwan = 50 miles away from hong kong... Like a drive from NYC out to long island but by boat.. so it takes a while to ship here and also needs to be fcc inspected, etc.etc.etc.

Heee, I always think that a lot of products in HK are "water goods". Those from HK should know what I am talking about. But doesn't seem to be the case.

The distributors in HK work really fast 😉

Henry,
Here are some of the sites that I found by doing a web search. Some of the sites are down during the daylight hours here in the U.S. Hope you can discern some useful info. I'm currently acquiring all of the components to build a new system and this mobo is high on my "want list".
