MSI K7T Pro2-A Sound Chip "Static" Question

While I find the on-board sound to be satisfactory on the K7T Pro2-A, there is, however, an annoying "pulse" of static when powering on the system with the speakers already on. This did not happen on another system using a dedicated sound card. Turning the speakers on and off would be a nuisance. Any ideas? Thanks.

eh, it's onboard sound. you usually take what you can get.
