Anyone knows why the max multiplier on this mobo is only 13.5? I've recently ordered a 266 FSB 1.4 GHz Thunderbird and been told that just go ahead and put that thing in there and just raise the multiplier to 14 and I'll get a 1.4 GHz Thunderbird, since the 266 FSB would be scaled down to 200 FSB I need to jack up the multiplier to 14 to get 1.4 GHz, problem is, it only goes up to 14. So when I plug in the CPU, it only goes up to1.35 GHz and not 1.4. Anyone can help me w/ this? I would have bougth the original 200 FSB, only problem is, no one carries em anymore.

I had the same problem with my board till i updated the bios from msi then now i have multipliers up to 19 you might try this to remedy the situation msi has a pretty good support team 😎

Thanks for the reply, the thing is, I already have the latest bios from MSI, so I don't know what else to do, do you have MSI board, too? I've already checked my mobos spec on their website and it officially supports 1.4 GHz 200 FSB Thunderbird, so it should have 14 multiplier by default.
