Hey guys........I posted this on another forum but they couldn't help.........so was hoping someone here could! sorry its so long............

Just bought myself a new 1.3gig (200fsb) Athlon for my MSI K7T Pro motherboard........
Everything seemed fine, I booted up and it was sitting on 40 degrees, so that was allright, my 800 ran at 35........
Anyway, I started up 3dmark 2001 to give it a bit of a test run, then on the 2nd scene, the screen just went black.....
*tried to stay calm, praying I didn't fry it*
I turned it off........then back on and I got four red lights on the mobo.......which bacically indicates a dead cpu.......tried that few more times, same thing happens.......
I went to bed cause it was late......then the next day I turned it on and everything was fine, till I put it under stress again it goes black.......

List of thing I have tried allready:

- Put a friends 1.3 cpu in - same thing happens
- Swapped the mobo to a MSI K7T Lite - seemed to work fine
- Changed from winxp to 98 and put all default drivers on, still freezes, ggrrrr
- Put newest bios update on for my mobo, still freezes!

I really don't want to have to replace the mobo!!!!! Any ideas guys???????? I'll try anything!

I am using it at the moment, but as soon as I play a game, or winamp plugin or somthin.........BLACK!!!!

EDIT: Oh yea........it's not the video card by the way......I changed that too.

C'mon guys I need help here!!

I just noticed that the default FSB is 104 on the mobo....I thought that was strange and then looked at the multiplier and it's only at 12.5........I guess thats as high as it goes.....

So I tried underclocking it *sniff* and it worked fine after a few loops of 3dmark..........

Dosen't seem to be a heat issue....it dosen't get over 40C after the loops.....unless it's wrong??? how accurate are the sensors?

How can I get it back to 1.3????

Pretty sure I used to get the fsb upto 109 with my old 800cpu
