I just rebuilt my sytem, but still have my ATI Xpert98 (8mg). Would like to upgrade my video for under $150. Any thoughts on what would be most compatible with my system. I don't play a lot of games, watch a DVD now and then. Any thoughts, thanks!!

The best thing for ~$150 is probably any Geforece2 MX card. But there has been some problems with the detonator drivers and the KT133 chipset. Since you don't game much maybe you can get the Voodoo 4 which is just starting to hit the shelves. If you really want to save money then get a Voodoo 3 2000 that could be had for well under $100.

Geforce 2mx. Saw one on price watch for like $110 It was an Inno3d card but the site that's selling it Ocie.com had a good rate on resselleratings.com. Worth a shot. Cheap and HUGE performance.

I haven't tried an MX on a MSI (or any Socket A for that matter) but the ones I have tried and had work flawlessly are any Voodoo 3 or 5, any ATI except for the Dual CPU Maxx, the TNT (of course) and the Stealth III and Viper II cards from Diamond.
