MSI K7T Pro and Reving CPU Fan?

Hey all-

I got an MSI K7T Pro yesterday and the CPU fan seems to 'rev' whenever CPU activity is occurring and slows down a bit when activity subsides. Can I change this somehow so it stays at a constant speed? Or an I just hearing things...?

Try putting it in a different fan header. You are probably hearing things.

i would try another fan connector too. either the cpu fan conntor you using doesnt' supply a stable current or the bearings in your fan is not smooth enough

Ok, thanks for the info... seems to be fine now... maybe the connector was loose originally.
