DeezNtz is correct it`s worth the extra cost for good quality ram there is nothing worst in buying cheap ram & finding out it does not work on your board, with good brands like Crucial etc ,you know that won`t be a problem. If you have the generic PC133 ram already well you can try it,but be prepared to buy decent ram if you get problems,you may be alright with your generic ram, I have heard of boards being ok,but definetly if you are going to buy new ram ,get good quality & avoid generic ram.
