MSI K7T Pro 2A: onboard sound problem!!

Hi there,

Just wondering wether anyone can tell me what's wrong with my mobo. I got this K7T Pro 2A recently, and installed the provided driver, but the sound still jerky and comes with a lot of distortion. Could this be software problems? or hardware? I'm tired of exchanging the mobo. The 1st time was the fan power point not working (could be burnt out due to using GlobalWin 38).

Can't find the thread so I'm doing this from memory, Try not to put your network card or modem card in slots 1,3,5. This seemed to help me. (based on comments from Technonut which I can no longer find. Sorry!)
