I bought this motherboard with a 700mhz TB. They installed the processor with the motherboard and sent it to me so I'm not sure if it's unlocked or not. My current settings are as follows

CPU Vcore = 1.85v
CPU Vio Select 3.3v
Clock by adjust = 105
CPU Clock Ratio = 9

According to Fuzzy Logic III my processor speed is only 749.3

I am using a Tai Sol heatsink and fan.

Is my processor locked or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Thekid

Yes, your processor is locked. At 9 X multiplier, it should be at 900MHz, just using 100MHz fsb. The rest of your MHz is just an inaccuracy. The fan needs to come off, the cpu out and the L1 bridges connected. The voltage is too high for just running standard speed.

The only problem is the msi k7t pr0 2-a motherboard doesn't works so good with overclocking. see www.overclockers.com motherboards review.

When i put it on 10x it runs at 600mhz? 9.5x 550 Mhz? Strange problem but MSI are looking into it.
