Hi,

I am having odd problems with my new K7N2. Upon a fresh 98SE install, no problems. Once I install the Nforce2 drivers, then any program using a DOS install (winzip, etc.) will give a fault error.

Also the CD rom will not autoplay. Any program just displays another error when it attempts to autoplay.

I have tried updating the Nforce2 drivers, updated the bios, fresh OS install, etc and no luck.

Anyone have these problems with a Nforce2 board?

You might want to look at your ram as the culprit. My board had some annoying issues with kingston ram. Kingston uses ram chips from several manufacturers on the modules (mine were samsungs) depending on what yours use that could be causing your problems. If you have access to a different brand of ram try it in place of your kingston and see if that helps.
