you cannot buy an On_board cache Module for any type of athlon motherboard. Athlons have the cache on the chip/CPU or cache is mounted on the PCB next to the CPU in first version of the Athlon. You are thinking about the old Pentium day with the Fx chipset where there is a slot or socket for the cache module.
a lot of things have changed since the first pentiums.
in other words, the athlon does not require an On_Board cache Module... 🙂
