MSI R7970 TF 3GD5/OC BE Radeon HD 7970 3GB Twin Frozr OC Boost Edition - $299.99 after $20 MIR (ends August 31st).

This card has identical GPU boost clock of 1050mhz as 7970GE cards, with memory slightly underclocked from 6000mhz to 5500mhz.

Here is a review. At stock speeds it beat the MSI GTX680 Lightning in every game tested. The reviewer was able to overclock it to 1200mhz GPU / 7200mhz memory and temperatures still remained at 71*C at load.

At TechReport, HD7970GE delivered 99th percentile frame times that are at least as good as the 770.

This is essentially GTX770 2-4GB level of performance for $100-150 less with 3 free game vouchers that can be banked 'till Dec 31st.

What do you think, one of this card or two of the 7950 that you've posted earlier?

Two 7950s but after the V.ME promo this card is a good price too. Makes me think I got seriously ripped off on my GTX 780.

What about the xfx one that is about 20 cheaper$

XFX this round for AMD cards is poor quality.

I think they updated the cooler now but the previous revisions were really bad.

Went ahead and bought one. Thanks for the post.

Great! Please feel free to post your impressions on drivers, performance, overclocking and noise/temperatures once you get the card.

I think OCing the 7950 would be a better price/performance vs this? even if this card was OC?
