Hi,

So this is a micro-atx board and I have a mini-itx case. A cooler master elite 120.

I want to be able to stuff it in there with a xfx-550w Pro without modular cables. It will be a challenge. The bundle of cables are huge.and volume occupying.

I am not sure if the I/O shield will line up. I am planning on jery rigging up some mobo mounting points. I just need to get 3 of 4 of the mount point for the standoff. I was thinking of welding some pieces of metal to the bottom of my case and giving it a raised effect. Like how the original locations are, except orig are stamped steel during curing process. I would have to cut the old stamp/thread holes out and weld it to new location to fit the motherboard holes.

Is this something too hard? I have a welder and stuff. I have a simple lincoln mig welder. I need to use a tap and die set to make the screw holes? What size would that be? I don't have a tap and die set. I bought all these during the Total defense rebate offers. So Im stuck with these parts. I know the I/O shield won't line up or the usbs. I am willing to give some up. It will be offset. The PCIiE is completely behind a bracket divider which Im willing to cut off with a die grinder(air powered).

Thanks.
