Keep in mind he bought an entire video card, not just a GPU. He opted for one that didn't use bargain basement components. Some designs just cost more than others. It's up to the individual if it's worth it or not. You can't knock someone for wanting more quality.

I thought about it, but the asus dcII is $350 and the twin frozr II is $365. I essentially saved $85 over the asus dcII and I'm getting 99% of the performance right now.

Thanks. Yes RE5. I am considering switching to Nvidia from my 5850 and this looks very interesting.

I averaged 154.8 fps at 1680x1050 with 4x AA and motion blur on under DX9, and I averaged and 136.4 fps at 1920x1200 in DX10 with the same settings.

I didn't take screenshots and I already deleted the benchmark sorry.
The GPU speeds were 1000mhz on the core, and 4600mhz on the memory.

I would be curious to know about the stability of these cards since there's been some chatter about the more mildly OC'd 880mhz version having some glitches, especially after 1-2 months of use, losing DVI signal, etc.

I like the concept of the card (as an upgrade to an 8800GTS), more so that as far as I can tell it is the highest end card that will actually fit in my Antec P150, but would rather live w/ the peace of mind that it isn't going to melt on me rather than having the most stratospheric FPS ratings.
