I just bought this laptop online. I don't have it yet, even though I've updated my sig :). I travel a lot with work and never have time to game, so I sold my big gaming desktop (no longer in sig) in favor of keeping my lower powered desktop and buying a decent notebook, plus pocket the difference. (I had a 6950 crossfire setup with a 1090T @ 4.2GHz that hardly got used due to travel)

I should have gone this route before. I know I won't get nearly as good performance, but I will be able to enjoy the games a lot more.

ANYWAYS

My Question:

I have a 80GB Intel x25-m SSD that I kept out of my old desktop before selling it. I bought this above laptop on impulse because on Sunday on newegg.ca it was on sale for $999.99 plus $100 mail in rebate. I doubt I could find a better deal than that. Anyways, I notice in the pic on tiger direct it looks like there is in fact a 2nd hard drive bay. I am having a hard time confirming this.

Can anybody help me confirm I can install my SSD as a 2nd drive? If not I'm going to sell my Intel and pick up a 256GB SSD most likely, but Id prefer to just use my 80GB for the system drive if I can.

I can live with the 1366*768 screen. It will actually improve performance in games I imagine. My last notebook was this resolution, so I'm used to it.

Its hard to tell. That empty space in top left is where the DVD drive is I believe, so I don't think it does.

Cool thanks

Does that mean in theory this thing can hold 3 hard drives without a DVD drive? That site you gave where you custom the laptop seems to point that way.

I still dont see the newegg feedback though. Thanks
