The y510p that you linked to is the 720p model.

The MSI has a 33% faster CPU.

Check out this one. Lowers the price gap. 1080p matte display, GTX 765m, quad core, and lighter than both systems.

msi vs lenovo
1080p screen vs 1366x768
gtx 770 vs 2x750

seems about right

how are you going to fit 2 SSDs in the lenovo without removing one of the 750s?
are you playing on an external monitor? Otherwise, how're you going to get 1080p on a 1366x768?

? i think you're missing a link. Is it supposed to be the sager NP7352/clevo W350ST?

15.6" 1080p i7 4600mq + gtx 765m, 5.95 lbs, doesn't seem to have a backlit keyboard though? and has terrible battery life (2+ hours?).

Also, the MSI and Lenovo are using the same cpu (The lenovo isn't listing the turbo frequency though)

The product links must have just been updated. I linked to the one I was originally looking at, but it just changed to shipping in 1-2 months since my first post.

The xoticpc one looks like a good start. Better video card and more options for SSD.

Well, I changed it up a little and decided to spend a little more now.

Sager NP8250 w/GTX780m, i7-4700MQ, 16GB RAM, 128SSD + 750HDD, Blu-ray reader and Intel AC. Hopefully that will last me for 3-4 years.
