Not sure if this should be in power supply or notebook section. But I have an MSI GT60 with GTX 780M, and recently my battery charger took a dump and no longer works. I purchased an iTikero 180W charger, although all ratings are identical to the stock MSI charger it doesn't charge my battery adequately. When i'm running intense games my battery level drops even when plugged in. MSI wants $130 for a replacement, which is ridiculous when i bought the thing 8 months ago. Since I clearly bought a subpar charger when i spent about $45, is there a brand anyone can recommend without spending as much as MSI wants to charge me?

Are you asking if the charging port is maybe faulty as well? I dont think so cuz i never have a problem getting it to start charging or recognize the charger is plugged in. It just isn't actually putting out the 180 watts that it claims its rated to. I'm going to send this charger back cuz they have a 30 day money back guarantee, I just didn't want a replacement of the same brand in case its just a shit brand, which is what it seems like.

I got a "Delta" brand product from <spam?> on Amazon and it was garbage. Died after 2 months. Luckily they let me send it back. It seems like there are no viable options other than from MSI but I will keep searching. Have you found anything that works?

I purchased an ASUS brand replacement that should actually be legitimate. We'll see on Friday if it works. It is expensive, but $30 cheaper than the MSI one for the same specs. Not buying an off-brand charger again.
