I am writing an article about the differences between two models of gf3 ti200 (from MSI) - one with 64MB and the other with 128MB.

I looked on MSI site and in many other places but could not find the ns specification for the two cards...

Can somebody help me?

I belive the 64MB has 4ns (that's the default for 500 MHz, right?). My friend and I have MSI GF3 Ti200's, and we both can o/c the RAM to about 520/530; 500 MHz is what I leave it on all the time. They're both covered by RAMsinks so I can't verify this, but I'm pretty sure of it.

 Can't comment on MSI particularly but the GF3 cards, unlike the GF4TI4200 cards tend to use the same ns RAM and clocks regardless of whether they are 64MB or 128MB. With the same manu you'd very likely find the same ns RAM used on both variants of their GF3TI200 cards. In any case you'd be MUCH better off going for a 128MB card which o/c's more poorly than a 64MB which o/c's very well. In any case almost every GF3TI200 owner finds they get within 10% of GF3TI500 perf, at worst.

I have an MSI GF3Ti200 OEM... basically, the ones they put into compaqs.

I read it has 5ns ram, but it overclocks exceptionally well at 240/544 stable..

hay everyone - thanks for the responses.

I am only interested in the difrence betwen the 64 and 128 modules in term of memory speed (in ns).
I belive it's 64 - 4ns and 128 - 5ns but I am not sure - can someone confirm this with some information from the web?
