I have an older computer that originally had an ATI Radeon LE in it. I however came upon an MSI Geforce MX460 and decided to put it into the machine. Everything would run fine until I would run a computer game, specifically Warcraft 3. After about 3-5 minutes of gameplay the machine would lock up. I tried a bunch of drivers, and none of them helped. Right now I am using a the drivers from 2002 on the MSI website.
I ran powerstrip and underclocked the card to about 250/450 and now it run warcraft 3 just fine. While this setting is still better than the old radeon I am dissapointed it is not running at least at factory specs. Warcraft 3 is the only game I have ran with this graphics card so far. The card did not seem to be getting hot when it would lock up at normal specs. I would like to know whats going on and how to fix it, thanks.
