MSI Geforce GTX 970 worth the upgrade from Geforce GTX 660?

I have a Geforce GTX 660, i7 3770k, 12 GB ram

It's $270 after MIR

should I go for it? Or would it be better to wait around for a deal on a 980 and spend a bit more?

I'll be playing Call of Duty black ops 3

If you insist on the 970 though, might want to wait until prices drop down to $270-280 level that they were. On the 970 side, I'd go for the MSI Gaming or Asus Strix over the MSI card you linked.

I'd go for it, it should be a really nice boost in performance over the last card. I upgraded from a gtx 680 to a 970 (so not identical, but similar) and was super happy with the differences.

TPU uses old games. 2x is TPU is like 2.5-3x in new games.
