Daaaamn. It's a shame that the price on Newegg is like 1400 PLN and the actual Polish market prices of the very basic PNY or Gigabyte GTX 670s are 1650+ - this one will be even more expensive :/

Had it costed 1400 PLN, I'd start regretting having bought the 7850 for 1000 PLN.

Awwwww man now I have serious buyers remorse. The EVGA ftw has the memory clocked at 6204mhz, which leads me to think it might have higher quality vram. But I know the cooler on the MSI power edition is superior. I want which ever one can overclock the vram the best (on average) without running the fan at jet engine speeds. :( I don't know what to do.

the FTW cards have the same memory as all of the other 670/680 cards. you should be able to get close to 7000 out of it but there is no guarantee. what is funny is that it seems like every card techpowerup gets can oc well past 7000 memory. nobody else seem to be able to do that so I doubt they are checking to see if performance is degrading past a certain point.

Well if they all have the same vram modules, I'm going to RMA my unused EVGA ftw card (I currently have no monitor; waiting on achieva shimian) and get the MSI power edition. I like that, at the least, the MSI will have cooler temps and simultaneously quieter operation. Thanks for making my decision easier guys.

EDIT: Shit there is a 15% restocking fee. Crap. :( Anyone wanna buy an unused gtx 660 FTW for $400? It will still come with the the serial numbers and UPC so you can get the rebate!

I would personally wait for a few reviews first.

You'll also enjoy the triple unlocked voltage ;) too bad there are no reviews for it yet.

I edited my post above to say that I'll be hit with a 15% restocking fee, so as of this moment it's not worth it for me. I'll see if anyone wants the gtx660 ftw unused for a few dollars off and still with the $10 MIR.

EDIT: Oh F*CK it. I know I'll probably upgrade next year at some point, and until then this will be more than enough. It's just one of those things that will eat at me!

Box says it, MSI says it, so I'm pretty sure it's unlocked.

Power Edition
- Triple Overvoltage: adjust the voltage of GPU, memory and PLL to unleash the potential of graphics card.
- Enhanced PWM Design: provide higher overclocking capability and better stability in peak load.

Complain to customer service. I did with my 670. They waived the fee.
I'm really questioning whether or not I buy from newegg anymore. I know if they didnt waive the fee then I wouldnt shop their again. With Amazon its simple to send stuff back and they even pay for return shipping.

w1zzard is no amateur. It's more likely that he's either better at O/C'ing than the avg. user is, or, the review samples are just better.

What process is he using to move the sliders to the right to increase clockspeeds that's different? Is it in the mouse?
Jk but seriously its kinda silly.

I was able to sell it on craigslists ten minutes after listing it for $20 less than I bought it for. I think my patience, or lack thereof, has cost me a few dollars over the years.

I,m wondering if the 670 when under load, already dynamically increases to the three max voltages that the MSI card gives you access to. Can probably flash the bios to other 670's.

There's always a chance with the unknown, but I think this card has the potential to be the best 600 series card yet.
