I found this video card (MSI Geforce 4600) for sale at 89$. Of corse, the board is second hand one, but it looks like new. It wasn't overclocked and is working perfect. But then again, is not a new one but a second hand. Do you think 89$ is too much for this board ?

Thank you.

If you look around, you can find a used 9700 Pro for $100-110 which will smoke that card and also give you DX9 functionality.

If I was getting a card in that range, I'd get a new 9600pro or try to find a used 9700 pro like Painman suggested.

I'd get a Geforce 6200 (non-TC), that's also around $89 and will perform better than the 4600. Plus, you may be able to unlock pipes and make it a 6600.

ti 4200 is awesome and overclocks to 4600 with no sweat. Is probably cheaper too

I agree, my second rig has a GeForce 4 Ti 4800(8xAGP version of 4600). It's not worth it if you can buy something better for only slightly more.

Unless your buying for it's historic value. I'd put it on the bookshelf with my un-opened Starwars collection. I'm sure the chicks will dig it too.

I'll sell you my three-year-old DELL OEM ti4600 for $50.

you can get a used 6600 vanilla for $70. That would beat a 9800pro in performance, plus, it has shader model 3.0

take my advice...(jedi hand wave)...
