My system has been locking up after playing games for a while, and I'm wondering if it could be my video card overheating or something. A friend suggested that it could be the power supply but I'm not sure how to figure out which. Thought I might do a fresh install of windows to make sure its not software problem but thought I'd get advise from someone who knows what their doing. Any suggestions are appreciated.
 
Try popping in a different video card and see if that changes anything. If it doesn't, pop in different (higher wattage) power supply. That should help in isolating which is the problem.
