MSI G45 Z87 MOBO HDMI Port

How do i use the HDMI Port onboard on the MSI G45-Z87? In order to get the computer to post I had to use the DVI Port to get it to show video. I would rather use the HDMI until I get a Video card for the PC.

Any help would be great,

you just plug it in.and choose your pc on your monitor.

Does your CPU support iGPU?
Have you tried booting into BIOS to enable the HDMI?
Have you installed the drivers for the MB?

you will want to check in your bios settings about the onboard graphics and make sure it is set up correctly. Are you doing this with any other GPU installed or what? just trying to get some more info
