Note this is purely curiosity based as I have no plans to build a new system...I noticed, since the last time I bought a mobo that there are all these MSI Fuzion boards on Newegg that claim to let you mix video cards including between brands? Is that for real, there must be some kind of catch(like it won't actually work with games?), the thought of having drivers for 2 brands of cards at once is by itself a staggering thought...

Anyway, just curious.

Lucid Hydra, and yes, there is a catch... It apparently doesn't work very well.

It sort of works but is not very practical, especially with SLI and Xfire scaling being so awesome these days.
