I got this MSI Drive a couple of months ago. I watched several DVDs on it. About 3-4 weeks ago I put in a DVD and it the sounds starts popping and crackling after about 5 minutes or so of play. If I pause it and then resume play, it stops, but will start again if a few minutes. I tried another set of speakers, and another DVD software.
Main speakers are a Sony 330Watt stereo system. I just got it plugged and it pops sometimes during music, so I thought it might be them (which would suck since the system sounds amazing). But I tried my old Altec Lansing 2.1 system and it still popped.
Normally I use PowerDVD 5, but I tried InterAct and still got the popping.
Is my drive bad? I got it from NewEgg, so RMA should be a problem
