For some odd reason, MSI Dragon Center stopped allowing me to control the colors for my RGB lighting setup. It's still showing the last color that I configured for my CPU cooler, but it's not allowing me to change it or enable/disable the case lighting. Oddly enough, the RGB color controls still work for my MSI video card.

I have an MSI B550-A Pro motherboard with a recent BIOS update. I'm already running the latest version of MSI Dragon Center.

By the way, this software is total rubbish. If anyone knows of a third party RGB software utility that doesn't require MSI Dragon Center, that would be appreciated. Most of the programs I've seen are just add-ons that still require Dragon Center to be running.

Yeah I have heard of issues with dragon center before. I suppose one thing you could try would be to reinstall the software.

Yes, Dragon Center is a huge piece of junk. You can't stop using it entirely, but it's possible to disable most of the bloatware services it installs. I only keep the LEDKeeper2 service running and use JacknetRGB to control the motherboard lights through Corsair ICUE.

Reinstalling seems to have fixed the issue for now. I wish that I could just install the drivers and let some other software control the lighting.

Didn't MSI have changed the Dragon Center for MSI center? I use it on my system and you can choose the modules you want to install (not block those you don't want to use). I just install Mystic lights and that's it. Works fine for me so far.
