Hi

How much do you guys trust these Diagnostic LEDs on the msi mobo's? I'm thinking of rma'ing my 865pe fisr because one LED doesn't work, its dead. Is is worth the hastle of rebuilding the system again for it? Apart from that my board is sweet. Asked Dabs if I could just swap the dbracket for a another, but no sods wouldn't allow it. Its either all or nothing.
So wat do ya think guys rma or keep?

Cheers

Is just the D-bracket bad? I personally wouldn't worry about it. It isn't that hard to figure out what's wrong with a mobo.

I'm surprised that MSI wouldn't just send you one. When they didn't include one with my board I e-mailed them and they sent me a bunch of brackets for free.

If you're feeling adventurous, you could replace the LED yourself. Looks like you'd just have to crack some plastic casing.
Of course, it's not that big a deal... the only time you use the D-LED thing is when building your system or diagnosing some hardware problem.
